At Terapia we offer calm, practical therapy for children and young people, creating a safe space where they can be heard and helped. We use a trauma informed, developmentally attuned approach that blends talking with creative methods such as art, play, puppets, sand tray and drama so feelings that are hard to name can still be expressed. We support worries including anxiety, low mood, identity struggles, self harm, peer pressure, trauma and life transitions, and we adapt pace and techniques to each child or adolescent.
We work closely with parents, carers and schools to agree clear, realistic goals and to make sure support continues beyond the therapy room. Family sessions and reflective parenting are available when helpful. Sessions are flexible to fit school and family life and are designed to be affordable.
We work collaboratively to identify unhelpful patterns, build coping skills and develop clearer, values aligned ways of living. Sessions are paced to suit you and focused on realistic, lasting change rather than quick fixes. We also offer support for life transitions, stress management and improving self esteem and communication. Confidentiality, respect and warmth underpin every session. If you would like to discuss whether therapy might help, call us on 020 8201 6101 or email [email protected] and we will talk through the best next steps.
