Urgent or Emergency Support

If you feel that you, or someone you know, needs urgent help and may be at risk of harming themselves or others it is important that you contact your GP, your local NHS walk-in centre or closest A & E department straight away.

If you just need to talk, any time of day or night then contact the following services:

Children and young people (under 19) can phone childline on 0800 1111 or access online support here.

Adults can call Samaritans on 116 123

For text support: if you are a young person (under 19) text YM to the SHOUT crisis text line if you are an adult text SHOUT to 85258 the Shout Crisis text line.

Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust.  Help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  You can talk to mental health professionals who can provide advice and support.  Phone 0300 020 0500.
